THE STRANGE CASE OF MORAL MURDERING

THE STRANGE CASE OF MORAL MURDERING

So it is that Osama bin Laden was killed. It could even be true, any way let's pretend that we believe everything we are told and we believe it happened exactly the way they say it happened. Let's not argue the point that even the president and his advisers, that the president and his spokesperson, the president and his generals have differing scenarios of what was really going on, that even the navy seals in that room saw different things happen at the same time, we are Americans and we believe the reality shows to be real, and it is easier just to accept everything at the face value without question, so we can go back to our daily lives full of stuff.

US closes Pakistani embassies

For all it is worth, the US government is trying to get as much milage as it can of the incident, while questions remain of the whole situation we are trying to gain some advantage. First of the US declared that the operation was carried out with "great assistance" from our partner in "war on terrorism" the Pakistanis.
Earlier I had talked about the conflicting stories surrounding the murder( IF) of Osama bin Laden

Early on the President said that we had cooperation from Pakistan, that later turned in to, "Elements in Pakistan were hiding Osama", this is a lie on both accounts. What the government and the media left out was that the Pakistani ISI chief was in the US just weeks prior and possibly hand delivered Osama to the US, and the second that the US could not have carried out the raid without anyone in Pakistan being alert enough to call 911 and have the compound checked out. The bottom line is this that the two sides are lying to cover their ass or to continue the charade.

If there is/ was any doubt, we live in a culture of lies, it is hard to believe either the Pakistani side or the US side of the story without any caveats. It boggles the mind that the operation could have gone on for 45 minutes or more without any one on the ground in Pakistan becoming alerted or suspicious, with out any reaction from the Pakistan forces or even just the local police. But then it is no more ridiculous than the the story of 9/11 itself where we did not call a national emergency, did not scramble our air defenses, and even the defense secretary, and the CIA chief and the FBI chief both not only kept their jobs but were also awarded medal of freedom for service to the United States.

Lies and Mysteries Surrounding Bin Laden’s Death

WHAT DO WE STAND FOR ANY WAY

I would really like to believe that Obama is telling the truth, I would also like to believe that Pakistan is telling the truth, but both truths are mutually exclusive. I would like to believe that Obama is telling the truth, but you and I know that he can not, I would also like to believe that Zardari is telling the truth, but he won't he is a fucking liar and a thieve, but he is a friend of the United States and thereby a friend of Obama, or at least Petraeus, or Gates may be? Or are we dealing with a known crook, what does that say about our morals? and character?

You know I question people's moral  proclamations always, more so of the politicians and the media people, journalism today being at its low ebb, with people looking for more and more entertainment from their news, thus the circus about the pictures of Osama, inquiring minds want to know more, and the media are more than happy to oblige, pushing the government lines because it makes us happy because it makes us strong and superior to the low life Osama and we got him didn't we?

You might consider me old fashioned, or like my own  children you may also think of me as out of touch. To me the words such as say, morals, justice, peace, honor, honesty, fairness and truth are real constructs with real meanings that can not be changed to suit one's purpose and according to time.

Of course when someone assumes  the office of the President of the United States, we assume that person to be holding these values, and if not we are disappointed, like was the case with Nixon and then Clinton too, and the rest in between.

LIFE IS A GAME OF CONNECT THE DOTS, IF YOU DON'T CONNECT ALL THE DOTS OR DON'T CONNECT THEM IN THE RIGHT ORDER YOU NEVER GET THE PICTURE
