ANOTHER DAY 16 A

LIFE IS A GAME OF CONNECT THE DOTS, IF YOU DON'T CONNECT ALL THE DOTS OR DON'T CONNECT THEM IN THE RIGHT ORDER YOU NEVER GET THE PICTURE ANOTHER DAY 16 A I realize, it's been a while since I posted one of my, usually, daily rants, 20 days to be exact, got lazy, maybe tired, maybe busy, time flew by. Since I started blogging, 17 years ago, it has almost become a habit, write down something each day. But life has become more complicated, more confusing even, over the years, times have changed, they always did. 71 years of life, you can learn a lot if you are willing to, if you make an honest effort, or you could die without learning anything at all, the world will still go on. A sad thought that many don't pay no mind to. There was a book, and a movie, a few years back, where the sheriff and his friend lament about the "good old days ", maybe you have even seen the movie, "No Country for Old Men". It came out in 2007, you should watch. One of lessons of the movie, if you pay attention is, that world is changing, it is always changing around us, whether we like it or not, whether we go along or not, whether we adapt or we don't. I still love 60s art deco. 70s neon signs. I recently bought a fake "boombox". I like antiques, I have a 1903 set of cast iron skillets, a 1934 pot belly stove, a glass churn. But I also bought my first desk top in 1986. Life moves. There is examples, we are not exceptional, when world changes we all get caught. There are things happening around us that we will be part of and will participate in. We use debit and credit cards, we pay bills on line, we use cellphones no matter our preferences.
