THE OTHER HALF OF THE STORY
I know I always make people angry, deflating their bubbles, arguing against their most firmly held beliefs and destroying their "logic" with facts and figures.
The problems the country faces today are manifold, as I told you in 2003, Americans are very narrow minded, as in when it comes to their sense of history, recent and past, and have very little knowledge of anything else and secondly, the Americans do not take criticism of their beliefs lightly, no matter how wrong they might be,(neither does any one else for that matter) .
Obviously if you are a Democrat or a Republican, you know only one half of the story of the Untied States, political, societal and economic, If you are an independent you also know much less than you think.
But ah! so contemporary, just like any "reality show" ( we actually call them and do treat them as reality) we talk past each other, we do not understand each others points of view, or even try. We may be country men together, but we exist in parallel universes. So much so, we seem to believe that the natural laws that apply to one side do not simultaneously apply to us also.
The mess we are in was not created just by one party, and the independents, the Libertarians, The TEA partiers and others are similarly guilty. We took our eyes off the ball. Everything was just too easy. So who cares that the Chinese or the Phillipnoes or the Bengladeshies worked as slaves, or we had the Mexicans to clean our homes and pick our crops. We were the Americans, we were above all of it.
As I warned in 2003, those who will manipulate the currencies to lower the wages of workers so that they will not have to move the factories will also do it to us one day, did you know, or remember that it was the Democrats benefactor, George Soros himself who sold these people down the river, he will do it to us also, one day.

Here is a link to the BBC review, analysis and report of the Wikileaks latest cache of US Army documents. I will not comment on this for the moment but will says this much. A ZERO SUM GAME IV
There is a story, many years ago a would be robber walked into a convenience store, with a paper bag on his head, to rob it. As he asked the clerk for the money, the clerk just laughed, you see! the robber had forgot to cut out holes for his eyes in the bag and was thus unable to see.
Such is the situation when you approach the elections, most of the electorate is blinded by, not the facts, but their own preconceived notions of what will work and what is good for them and thus for the country. Many years ago, just prior to such an election, I wrote about the ignorance of the average voter. But let me say this first, many of us try to get the information but one way or another we are faced with the biases of the media and more so of the messengers( politicians).
The first lesson in any democracy today should be this, just as one does not start a whore house or a gambling establishment just to provide a service for the public, and jobs for the poor, ( the idea is to make money right?) no one today runs for any political office without a certain degree of self interest and a real knowledge of the monetary gains that accrue through that political power, any one to tell you otherwise is a liar!
The second lesson is that you can only spend a dollar one time, and a borrowed dollar must also be paid back at some time. As in all the dollars that have been borrowed by our country must be paid back. The reality today is also that these monies CANNOT be paid back without both the raising of taxes and the cuts in spending not just one or the other.
The third, the true evidence that this country has been stolen, run by the thieves is that since the housing debacle began (2006) and the market crashed in 2008 people are not being prosecuted, like Micheal Milken was in the junk bond scheme, now we have just changed the name of junk bonds and called them Mortgage Backed Securities, (MSB) it is the same pile of...
And the last one, you can vote how ever you want to it might make you feel better, thing are not going to change, no time soon, but we can hope and change again in just two more years.

How to avoid a debt doomsday
This in response to a post on the CNN money (see link above)
To whom it may concern, below, you know who you are!
To assume that if nothing in the budget is increased the budget will be balanced in six years, ( I picked a bad year to stop smoking that thing you are smoking) if not some one is blowing smoke up your kilt. There are a thousand assumptions here, and you and I both know that stuff about assuming.
First of all it assumes that a recovery is in place and we have no evidence of that ( some say that the recession is over but the Right denies that , right?
Then it assumes that the rich will create jobs to feed the hungry, that is also not true, besides all the other arguments I have made in my blog the consumption and the consumer demand both are on the wane, thus no jobs, and fewer taxes that will cause more and more state and local employees will be laid off, thus reducing the demand further.
No recovery in housing and housing prices, as more and more foreclosures hit the market the glut won't be worked off in a slow recovery economy and and the revenues will not rise fast enough.
With the monies already printed and spent, the FED can not keep the interest rates low forever, no matter the lies they have been telling, please my dear look at the commodity prices!
Even if the interest rates were to go up by only two or three points, the whole tax income will be needed to service the debt obligations with nothing left at all to do anything else, thus as predicted making the US just another third world country! Back in the day we had shroom tea, the lady from Alaska must have some potent shi**

A ZERO SUM GAME III
Here it is, the theory of relativity says that as we move faster in to the future, faster we are escaping the past, so we stop looking at it, it fades in to nothingness. But the reality is different, the faster we move in to the future, the faster the past will follow us, it is there , always, right at our ankles, it has always been there, it still is.
We are, as always, bound to our past as we ever were, no matter the toys, no matter the technology, no matter the new sociology. The human condition remains the same. In my various discussions of poverty, of society, of finances and economy, time and time again, I have shown how nothing has really changed no matter the venue being discussed. No matter that I worry that the consequences we face will also be the same.
As we talk of globalization, and a global economy, we must not forget that there are two possibilities that we face, one that we could have regional wars, as in one region against the other over the control of resources and production, or we could end up with two worlds, on for the producers and their controllers and the other world for everyone else. It is no longer a science fiction, it is the future in the near term.
In the new utopia the money as we know it will cease to exist, you will be granted privileges based on your out put and your usefulness to the system. I have told you this before, the system is already in place and you are paid based on your service and your compliance of the system already, you already must justify your value to the system, the military service (even in a civilian capacity or as a contractor) is thus more valued than in any other role. Military and then police are needed to support the implementation of the new system. Time and time again we see the role of the military, not as the protector of freedoms and democracy, but as the acquirer and the protector of the resources.

THE STOCK MARKETS RALLY , AGAIN
In view of these news and the increase in projected lay offs ( unemployment rates) cuts in salaries and benefits isn't stock market lying about a possible recovery or is it a suckers rally again? Instead of this "news" why not tell the real news? Also you could address the consequences of a stock market rally in terms of what will happen to the interest rates and thus the federal budget deficits if the money is sent to the market and taken out of bonds. Are we not looking for a double dip recession? Is it not that familiar exuberance syndrome again.

Call him a clown or a kook, preacher or a provocateur as you show today indicates he can not be ignored. He may be off the wall and a nit wit, but you have to admit that some of what he says could happen not because he says it so, but that the realities of our country could make it all come to pass. Whether you live in the right wing utopia or the left wing utopia,m we are in a mess. So why is it more appropriate for Ariana Huffington to claim that the United States is becoming a third world country but not right for Beck to say that we could have a revolution, from the left or the right!
First of all, let me say that a revolution of the old kind could not succeed in this country today, the military is too strong, and the intelligence unfathomable for the average mind, but what with spy satellites and drones and the government's ability to not only look into your house but to even tell you what you had for lunch (kinda Jesus like) you could not hide and or attack any government formation. On the other hand with the government resources shrinking at both the federal and local level crime could increase like in Pakistan or even Mexico and one may have to defend themselves and their loved ones and property, the government also could use the increase in crime to justify taking away of the civil liberties, that is if we have any left after the continual expansions of the patriots act. There may not be any FEMA prisons right now, but surely local stadiums and empty malls along with the old barracks of the closed military bases could be used to house the extra ordinarily large populations of the homeless and the criminals. The usual American affinity to the phrase "it can't happen here" not withstanding.
While Beck talks about a Communist, anarchist, Black Panther, labor, socialist insurgency and takeover, he never mentions the militias, the skin heads, the survivalists, the White supremacists, or even the radical religious right that are willing to take over the government and impose their own kind of freedom and democracy upon the nation.
In any case the country and the democracy are in trouble, we are stuck in a whirlpool and little hope of recovery or redemption, and the think we did not care to know about it.

A ZERO SUM GAME II
I am not a lefty, I own a business, I own property, I own guns, I served in the military and received a Meritorious Service Medal for my service. What I write here is the truth that many do not know and many more do not understand.
It is true that Obama pushed through a health care bill of limited merit, but how many of us can afford private insurance? How many smaller companies were already doing away with their health care plans, and the lovely health care business was turned in to something akin to robbery and black mail. We were being promised too much, Obama plan if anything gives a false hope to many at best, you can read about it elsewhere in my blogs.
The basic idea is still the same, all all else being equal, some must become poorer to make someone else richer, whoever holds the better hand, this law of economics will not, can not be changed. Not by capitalism and most certainly not by socialism, only way to change the equation is to take care of each other, altruism.
The Republicans are talking of a tax increase, in truth they passed a law that bring the tax rates back to where they were before the Bush tax cuts, it was they who passed the law!

A ZERO SUM GAME
That Israel will once again sabotage the so called mid east peace process, or that US will carry out air strikes inside Pakistan, that US will send personnel in Pakistani territory. Or that the US government would want to spy on its citizens or limit their freedoms are not real news. Nor is the attempt of the US government to censor a book critical of its underhanded dealings in the name of national security. It is all old news. Not worthy of more attention.
Could it be that we are kept dull, could it be that we are doing it to ourselves,could it be a conspiracy? Just like in Any third world country, when people are hungry or looking for work nothing else matters, you are just trying to survive, damn the freedoms,and who worries about a tyranny?
While we wait for the establishment of the "New World Order", we fail to realize that it has already happened. Like I said in the " New Word Order, 2003", when you fail no one cares, we have too many people in the world already to care about someone who we have no use for and that they are not making a positive contribution any way.
But then there is this, millions of homeless and jobless (more of them world wide) makes for better profits for bankers and the industrialists. And as we need more people with better education for today's job market, we fail to realize that there are no jobs in the market, A job created in China or India only means that a job is lost somewhere else, like US for instance. Yet we are talking about a recovery in the auto industry while we are making half as many cars, a stabilization in housing prices while the people are being put out on the streets, and more and higher education while the college tuition is going up by 12percent per year.
In a "Zero Sum Game" there is a win and there is a loss, the win and loss negate each other out, so if we only focus on the wins the losses do not matter. But then there are real losers, it might be you, it might be you in the next go around.
A truth is only true if accepted as such, if not then it is not truth anymore.
There is a silly game, a card or a key tag on one side it says" How to keep an idiot busy, see the other side" of course the other side says the same thing too. For the past thirty or forty years we had Democrats and Republicans in congress and the white house, we have talked about family, education, poverty, budgets, media, arts, you name it then tell me one problem, one thing, anything we have resolved. The fact is we are spending ever more monies, on everything, and have nothing to show for it. Not only we are more in debt than any nation ever was, we are also more in debt than the rest of the humanity combined and we are "the richest nation on earth", it would be funny were it not so very very sad.

Like I said in the " New Word Order, 2003", when you fail no one cares, we have too many people in the world already to care about someone who we have no use for and that they are not making a positive contribution any way.
But then there is this, millions of homeless and jobless (more of them world wide) makes for better profits for bankers and the industrialists. And as we need more people with better education for today's job market, we fail to realize that there are no jobs in the market, A job created in China or India only means that a job is lost somewhere else, like US for instance. Yet we are talking about a recovery in the auto industry while we are making half as many cars, a stabilization in housing prices while the people are being put out on the streets, and more and higher education while the college tuition is going up by 12percent per year.
In a "Zero Sum Game" there is a win and there is a loss, the win and loss negate each other out, so if we only focus on the wins the losses do not matter. But then there are real losers, it might be you, it might be you in the next go around.
A truth is only true if accepted as such, if not then it is not truth anymore.
There is a silly game, a card or a key tag on one side it says" How to keep an idiot busy, see the other side" of course the other side says the same thing too. For the past thirty or forty years we had Democrats and Republicans in congress and the white house, we have talked about family, education, poverty, budgets, media, arts, you name it then tell me one problem, one thing, anything we have resolved. The fact is we are spending ever more monies, on everything, and have nothing to show for it. Not only we are more in debt than any nation ever was, we are also more in debt than the rest of the humanity combined and we are "the richest nation on earth", it would be funny were it not so very very sad.

HERDING CATTLE 2
Next time someone mentions that they want to create jobs, you can tell them that they are full of shit, because you know that they are. And how do you know? Because I am going to tell you.
For the past thirty years or more the United States has been the engine of nothing more than creating money. So it was bound to happen, like I have been saying for many years that the United States was being turned in to a third world country, and that both the Democrats and the Republicans were backing the policies with the same outcome regardless of their course.
As you can hopefully see now, after two years of the Democrats and the Republicans waiting in the wings to take over, no one has seriously mentioned what is happening with the long term unemployed, or where did all the people go who have lost houses (by the millions) in the housings great debacle). Even though there have been stories about people losing houses or jobs should we not be seeing the homeless and the destitute that are out on the streets and in the parks and occupying abandoned houses? Or did they ll manage to get housing and food, or did they all decide to disappear?
And while we discuss the merits and the costs of the Democratic and Republican health care plans the result will ultimately be as to who gets health care and how much money they have. ( I have told you so many times)

HERDING CATTLE
Let me assure you first that it does not take a genius to herd cattle, you can see that in many examples from the third world countries where many an illiterate kid goes out with cattle every morning.
Such is the situation with the electorate these days. It was just two years ago when we elected Obama with a hope and change message, we were hoping for a change, the ship of the country was sinking fast and the last guy, Bush was on a short list of doodoo brains.
How soon do we forget, today once again we are looking for hope and change, we just call it something else, Tea Party, Restoring Honor, State rights, Obama care, we just want some one to blame our problems on, like we had nothing to do with it. Like the little kids always say, " not me!".
Well hell, "ME" people, if Obama was not the one, then no one out there is, no matter your party affiliation or the color of your necktie. We are looking for simple answers and the simpletons are ruling the day.
And you know what? I am hoping too, I am hoping for a solid republican victory, I hope they do take the house and the Senate too. Cause I will be laughing my butt off, again! If anyone thinks for a minute that they have the solutions I have the news for you, they don't. They can not fix the budget, they can not fix the deficits, they only want their one more chance to steal before the country falls in to abyss, permanently.
And as for the die hard Republicans, the Rush, Bohnner, Hannity, Palin wing, as Democrats were like the cattle herded by Obama who stepped in to a pile of you know what, this time you are the sheep being herded to the doors of the slaughter house.

It used to be that you had to exhibit some maturity and skills to be considered an adult. Today most of the people use their 21st birthday acting foolish and getting drunk.

OF APPLES AND ORANGES
I was thinking about the square root of infinity, obviously I wasn't getting any where fast. Does it matter if you don't have religion? Does that make you an atheist? Or does being an atheist make you immoral.
Then there is the other mathematical problem, an equation can not be balanced, if "GOD" is a factor on either side. Thus there will be no world peace so long that a God exists.
Is it not odd that we try to follow the scriptures, written in the days of the stone age and then the others doing the same that THEY are back wards? Are not all these holy books telling the same story, and the same laws with little differences, if some one has thrown out Jeremiah, or Leviticus from the Bible, it is news to me, so how is one faith nicer than the other?
We look at the cosmos and see galaxies, billions of them floating around seemingly without purpose, while firmly believing there is a cause and purpose to our existence. If there were to be a purpose for the universe and the galaxies, then surely what ever we are or what we do is totally insignificant in comparison, can you deal with that? Strangely we have this faith from people who were trying to build a tower to reach the heavens.Aren't all monotheist religions based on the same ancient lure.
How do some of them believe they are different than the others when they all believe the same stuff? How is one group of them better than any other group?
