A "MATRIX" LIFE

One great thing about the modern life being the you can have a totally virtual life and no one will bother you, I am not making this up folks, look around you , how many you see that are living a life totally devoid of any context of reality.

We no longer call it a delusion,  even as the pursuit of a delusion has taken the urgency of a fix. Life used to be simple, but we don't like simple things. Gandhi, or Emerson, or even Buddha had simple lives, but they had no competition, or complications for that matter, they gave up everything, today we want simplicity as long as it comes with everything in this world, internet, reality TV, air conditioning and a three car garage. World has no room for seven billion new Buddha'.

And why really be a Buddha,  separation from our reality today does not require quiet solitude or meditation, just pull out your BlackBerry or whatever and you are there.

When the computer games started, and we all played, we selected avatars, and for sometime we "relieved" our fantasies  through these avatars, till the avatars became us, living out a short fantasy was no longer enough, it was a full time obsession. IT IS.

Why not, we have the money and the time, and WE are, we can be whatever we want to be, no consequences. Look at the contestants on the American Idol, are these people real? Not the finalists, the hundred thousand others that show up. Look at the Star Trek reunions, do these people actually in a work a day world too? Nothing is bizarre anymore, we have no idea what normal is. But it does matter, to the individual and to the society at large , as to what we are, and what worth the society really places in us.


Do you not wonder why would some one hold a party for the end of the "Friends" series? What kind of a person would get sick because of the demise of their favorite TV personality, or the hundreds of thousands and more that still morn, Micheal Jackson and Elvis and Dale Earnhardt?

Do you not wonder what's up with these freaks? Do they not have a life of their own ?  If yes, then what is this life worth that has so much time available for idol worship?  Not just the dead ones either, who in the hell is obsessed with Kim Kardashians ass? Or then there are cases of people getting so upset because they could not get chicken nuggets at a store that they beat up the cashier? Are we for real? Why such a big head and sense of privilege.

Why not though, we are effected by what we see, hear and watch. Look at Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Tiger Woods, and why not Dick Cheney, and Timothy Geithner, John Boehner et all. Do any of these have a good grasp on reality? I doubt it.

It makes me sick, back in 1973, I bagged groceries at the Publix, in Palm Beach, my customers had real money, even though tipping was "forbidden"  but majority of my customers insisted, and they were generous, some even asked for me by name, and they  were kind, always, soft spoken and always thanked me profusely. Now I have watched episodes ( a couple of ) of the Real Housewives, and   Basket Ball Wives, these people give the real rich a bad name, once again, Paris Hilton not withstanding , people with real money do know how to behave well in public and they never ever talk about their money, these women give the ghetto whores a bad rep.Yet there we are, our girls want to emulate these Ho's  and many of them succeeding

I am not a bleeding heart liberal, or a compassionate conservative, I seek balance in my critique even though my sound like a radical to you  when I oppose your point of you and try to make you see the other side also. There is always the other side, sometimes putrid and despicable it may be  but there it is, asking you  to at least consider the counter point.


 

Had you been reading this blog you  would understand, time and time again I have warned of the moral decay of our peoples, a decay mind you  foisted upon us by the media controlled by who else, the rich, who are today complaining about our lack of morals. And what about the morals of those who are today even looting the people in the stock and Bond "markets"? Where was the morality and in the tech bubble, and the housing bubble, how about those whose retirement funds were looted in broad day light and their jobs were taken over seas and given to the slaves.


For many long years, I have lamented the lack of character boundaries, but both liberals and conservatives came after me, liberals in the name of the so called "human right" and the conservatives because I was not compassionate and religious enough, it will not end pretty I warned.

When I said that the modern world was not for someone  with a 110 IQ, I was an elitists, but here it is, it is only the start, it will only get uglier. We will end up with a world that is an ugly place to be in. Even if you  do come up on the winning side.

I am not an elitist, I am a realist, I look into the future, and look for the consequences of various actions that are put together, and not the individual incidents and actions taken in a vacuum.

Many years ago, 12 or so, I had declared that all money is imaginary, the concept is hard to understand, but it should not be, it is very basic economics.  The money as we understood was either created by labor, by adding value to something or thru investment and thus using labor of others to generate a profit. Due to modern monopoly games being played on the world markets  money started to be created out of thin air, and thus our leaders could claim that they had created untold riches, this they had, which was as I said akin to the snakes of the Paroah.

As the conservatives kept up with the facade of untold riches and the fake money, the liberals too fell in to the trap, you  did not have to work let alone work hard, you  could just tax the rich to pay  for breeders of all colors ( I mean what i say), white black or other, you  could just sit on your fat ass, drink sodas and watch TV and the mana from heaven should drizzle into your lips.  If you  worked you could spend more than you made because their will be lines of credits and loans with no questions asked, no one wanted to be real.

Is this even considered news worthy? For over ten years I have been warning that we can not have Chinese and Indian workers, working for rice and beans to finance the outrageous American life style of non workers living in air conditioning... and driving cars, and watching TV day long. But this was the life the political and business classes told us we could have and not have to work for it. We could not survive the dual drain of wars and the trade deficits. Money did not have to be earned but just borrowed, we bought the lie hook line and sinker. I have said before, that Obama lied about the financial conditions to get elected, but McCain was lying too, Sadly we face a real upheaval, hopefully it will only be financial, but it seems it may have social consequence we are not ready for , yet.

AMERICA AND THE BUDGET DEBATE

May be you are just new to the realization the our country is broke beyond belief. If you know me or are familiar with this blog then you know I have talked about this crisis for over ten years, I have known it was coming and I have provided honest evaluations and even honest solutions. As the talk has declined to accusations, out right lying and sandbagging from both sides, what is truly the situation, hopeless in one word.

Both Obama and Boehner are saying the same thing so where is the argument, cut the benefits from the social security recipients, medicare recipients, cut the aid to families and wait for the tax cuts for the rich. All this dog and pony show is for the consumption of the stupid public, with the news media in cahoots with the politicians, WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS THE AMERICAN VERSION OF THE GREEK AUSTERITY PLAN, GET IT?

America's budget debate has become a moral equivalent of a criminal gang kidnapping a family member of yours and then holding him hostage for an outrageous ransom, not caring how destitute it leaves you and your family .

Be it resolved that to make clear the roles of the following professions and their roles in society, from now on all the lobbyist in DC be known as and appropriately called pimps, the politicians in congress and the senate as prostitutes and the industrialists, corporations and the bankers as johns. 

However it turns out now, the chain of events has been started that will see lower consumption, and a lower standard of living for a majority of not only the Americans, but also of the people around the world, thus reducing the pressures on the environment, and reduce climate change.  

How stupid are we, en masse we are brain washed so quickly that we don't even realize and we are brain washed daily. We will believe any thing and everything and our "leaders" know this.  How soon we  have changed our own  language and phraseology, just because they told us to redefine something, the global warming is now climate change, and hunger and starvation are food insecurity, this is how quick, did you  even realize you had made that change and accepted it?

Why are we surprised/ shocked- when fortunately or may be unfortunately-, what is going on in this big farce called the debt crisis/ debt ceiling debate, our representatives, including the president, are actually representing the true personality and the character of a vast majority of the Americans, deal with it.

 What if this crisis is needed, planned and now being executed. Did I not say back in 2003 that we need a recession, may be even a depression to bring people back to their senses. And you know it works actually both to the advantage of the liberals as well as the conservatives.

Slavery has been the norm throughout recorded history. By a wide margin, societies the DON'T believe in slavery are in the great minority. We are part of that minority.

I would suggest that what we are witnessing is the inexorable ...globalization of employment. Sooner or later, the Chinese will demand better working conditions and higher rates of pay, and then manufacturers will move their operations to some other impoverished nation. Even now, most Chinese only earn a few U.S. dollars a day.

I think it is fair to suggest that we need some oversight of large multi-national corporations that pretend to be from one nation or another, but in fact have no loyalty to anyone but their shareholders.

The crisis we face is a globalized world without any kind of global governance. Until this problem is addressed, large corporations will play one nation against the other to obtain the highest profits, the cheapest labor and the most lax regulation.

That's simply the profit motive and human nature at work.

YES, the solution to globalization is, globalization, How you think the Chinese will demand better conditions while the Chinese industrialists move their factories to Vietnam. I am not pessimistic, I am just being a realist. And then there... is the example of Mr. Soros dumping the Indonesian and I think Philippines currencies to destroy their higher wages, The US currency is being devalued even as we speak but for the global disaster keeping it afloat, temporarily, mind you they are waiting for the US austerity plan, the so called deficit reduction or the debt ceiling fix, whatever you want to call it it will be our austerity plan, look at the whole picture my dear friend.

I just think we should be careful when we throw around the word 'slavery.' Slavery is when someone owns you and they can buy and sell you - literally. That is not what is going on today.

The Chinese workers who built those hug...e concrete structures for the Bay Bridge earned 13 or 14 dollars a day - which may sound like 'slavery' to us, but compared to workers in the Chinese countryside, that's real money. It's all relative.

And you watch - the Chinese will demand higher wages. The chasm between the haves in the east and southeast and have nots in the west of China is expanding every day - which is why those construction workers made their way to Shanghai in the first place.

When I think of slavery, I think of Caesar in Gaul. In a single day after a long battle, 100,000 people might be torn from their homes and lands, thrown into cages, their families broken apart forever, and they would all be sold off across the Roman world for a huge profit, never to have any independence of their own again. That's slavery.

A LIST OF THINGS IN COMMON

 We believe we are different, we believe we are better, we believe we have nothing in common, but take a closer look.

Previously I compared the Taliban to the Narco traffickers, but take another look now, it is not just these two, lets see, what do the Narco traffickers and the Taliban have in common with the mafia, the street gangs, the religious regimes, the communist regimes. Look at the turf wars of Mexico and the other South/ Central American countries,or the Taliban and or Al Qaeda in Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia and Afghanistan,  the rapes the murders, the oppression and the fear are the tactics used by all these thugs, assassinations and the killings of the so called guilty (opposition) and the innocent without any justification and recourse go on daily. Power is usurped, stolen or bought, corruption of the system for personal and private gains is the ultimate and the only motivating factor.Bribery and extortion is there, and promotion of the most corrupt, corruptible and the vicious is par for the course of these.

Then what are we to make of the "legitimate governments" that act in such a fashion that it is harder and harder to see any difference between say a drug cartel, an Islamic terrorist organization and a "democratically elected" government. As the lines blur and the abhorrent actions of  murder, kidnapping , torture and even rape become a legitimate policy sanctioned by the representatives of the people. Bribery corruption and extortion and even blackmail are par for the course in daily governmental operations in promoting the cause of  peace and stability. How do we know the difference between legitimate and illegal conducts. What makes us better, I am just curious.

MAN IN THE MIRROR II

I started to write about Casey Anthony, told you about how we were so much like her, and that she was one of us, a representative of our culture and society. But you wish to disagree and I won't let you.

We must admit, one that we are a nation of liars  so Casey is no exception, look at our politicians, ourselves, both the left and the right are lying, about the economy, the joblessness, our national stats are bogus, (I have shown it here time and again), and even if Casey killed her child do we not kill our own country everyday, do we not lie to our countrymen and the world each and every day? If Casey Anthony is charged and convicted of lying to the authorities, then we should put every government official, every congressman and every senator on the stand and put them all in prison for their lies.

We are headed to time of  major upsets and upheavals, would not be far fetched to assume forced population control or even elimination,  technology is overtaking and over running the mankind, while we worry about dollar and cents the sheer existence of humanity is at stake. I had warned of this future a couple of years ago right here, we had reached a point of no return back then, now we are only deeper in to the abyss, it may not have been a conspiracy but it has worked out this way any way.

While the Republicans are talking about social security benefits cuts,  no one is telling you that these benefits have already lost over fifty percent of their earning value since Mr. Reagan"s reforms and with no inflation adjustment even under the reduced formula and the health care costs increasing the value of the check is no where close to where it should be.

MAN IN THE MIRROR

Here it goes, I promised on facebook to write about the Casey Anthony story,  no, not about the death of little Caylee Anthony. A lot of people are asking for Casey' head and why not, it don't cost us nothing, we want revenge, we want vengeance, we want closure ( like we have a personal issue at stake), good thing too it is not a hundred years ago or we would have grabbed the bitch and lynched her, gleefully.

Caylee Anthony is dead, if the autopsy was done right and it was her body  then she is gone forever, her mother is not guilty of her murder, yeah , get over it.

And what does this case say about us, as human beings,  as Americans, as a society.

Let me admit here first,  I am sociopath, and I am a hypocrite. My book is titled "Face-Off", I love pushing people's buttons, I like to make you look at yourself first.

I know you are upset, I have seen post asking for Casey' head,  people have suggested that she will be knocked off by some over eager mother or other crazed idiot with over active sense of self righteousness. People would hang her and burn her at stake, and then sentence her to death for a good measure, how evil is she, how can she murder her own child. STOP. She is not guilty, 12 red blooded Americans said so. So what is your beef?

While we wallow in indignation, I have a few questions, they have nothing do to with the case and everything.

Let's say that Caylee is not murdered, then let me see a show o hands how many females you know who would not want to be in her shoes, she has a nice body, she is young, acceptable if not pretty and yes she  fucked,  she fucked everybody and a lot of guys liked to fuck her too, she is the ideal girl that many of out young females aspire to be like,  and others  are like her, and guys do like easy  fucks without conscience  or any responsibility, hey even the bars liked her  cause she drew in men.

I know it sucks, if she had been found guilty would could have said that see we are better than she,  now we  are just like her,  again, now not that this will change anything, not that we will change our own behaviors or hold our children closer or not have one night stands and random sex partners, not that we will not go out  again to get high or get drunk or to hook up, or not get tattoos , or that any forty and fifty somethings will not act and behave just like her, ( minus the murder).

I also do understand the let down we felt on her being found not guilty,  her exoneration, for two and a half years we knew she was "GUILTY" she was going to hang, thanks to the perverts in the media that was the only acceptable out come for many,  for we believed whatever we were told, a different outcome was not acceptable,
