MY REASONS
I know, some of you may find my blog long winded, and I totally understand. But as you look around and try to understand why the world is suddenly upside down, if not your own life, yet. Then you must understand that I have to try and explain what is happening and why things are the way they are, and what is next in the life of this country, life of the world and your life.
You may wish to laugh at me now, but you are always welcome to look through the archives here and tell me where I had been wrong before , and what i had said was wrong, then you will understand what is next and why.

THE MORE THE THINGS CHANGE
In case anyone here is confused, we elected Obama (not by my vote though, he is president) for change, and in case you are confused as to what has changed, let me tell you that nothing has changed.
If you listen to the right wing nuts or the Republicans, you would believe that Obama is a socialist and wants to tax the rich, so that the poor can live on welfare and make more babies, (mostly black and illegals).
In reality though, Obama has continued the transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich just as the Republicans have been doing for thirty years. I have previously shown how the rich enrich themselves by usurping the work (wealth is only created by labor adding value to a marketable product) of the workers by keeping the wages and benefits low. I have also shown that the "wealth", for the benefit of the rich, in the world was being created by the governments of the world going in debt, and workers pawning their future earnings to by products on borrowed money.
It is slowly becoming apparent to the masses that the money that the government is borrowing for bail outs is actually being transferred to the real rich that remain nameless as of yet.
Timothy Geithner is a liar, only yesterday he was more polished in his lie telling( Face the Nation). He sounded knowledgeable because he had practiced his lies and did not have to stop and think up an explanation.
When they keep talking about taxpayers, they are not talking about the rich, since they are already getting the money even if they have to pay some of it back at a later time. They are talking about the average person who will be left holding the bag, ( an empty bag in this case) and will have to pay back the money.
So when some one talks about transfer of wealth, remember it is still going money from the workers to the rich on top. Obama has not changed a damn thing , he should be called out on it!

SLAVERY
It is a basic economic fact that in a market where labor is plentyful, the wages will drop. So it follows that when we live in a global market and this market has a glut of workers, pretend as we may the wages and thus the standard of living of the working class must fall. And what is service economy anyway. Service by definition does not produce anything and does not add value to anything, be it making of a burger or advice from a banker. You could always make a burger your self , go to a fast food restaurant and pay three dollars or go to a fancy bistro and pay eight dollars, it is still a burger, and the same advice you get from a banker could be gleaned from a magazine or researched on the net. As we are finding out that the certain office duties or banking functions can be performed anywhere in the world, thus no chance for one to improve their lot in life by extra hard work or education. As we watch we are being sold into slavery without being aware of it , YET. (M.N.R.)

TERRROR IN PAKISTAN, AGAIN
When an average person thinks whatever they are doing is within the teachings of their belief then falsehoods take root, we forgot that the basic tenant of religion is taking care of the community, the poor and the widows and orphans, not trying to get in to paradise. We , all of us, put more emphasis on getting into paradise, getting to paradise should just happen incidently because you were doing good, true worship, Ibada.
Justice, and elimination of corruption, bribery, and the nepotism, the rich taking care of the other rich and no one taking care of the poor, increase in poverty and hunger, uncontrolled birth rate are all causes of terrorism at a deeper level, we will have these problem so long as there is corruption in the system, drones or not.

LESS THAN MEETS THE EYE
The retail in January and February picks up as Federal employees and retires recive pay increase, social security payments increase, and more so since the new electronic filings the tax refunds and recieved and spent earlier in the year that it used to be. Most recipient of the tax refunds plan to and spend the money on major purchases.With people losing jobs at the rate of over 500,000 a month It is hard to see how the spending increases can hold up.

UNITED STATES BEING RUN BY IDIOTS
We really need a presidential declaration that the United States of America is being run by idiots, it is only fair you know, to warn everyone that wants to be like us or deal with us to warn them we don't really know what in the hell are we doing here. First of all we are say 46% Republican and 46% Democrat country and 8 % who don't count for anything any way and have no say so in the goings on. But at any given time each of the 46% is trying to prove that the other 46% percent are absolutely wrong, and guess what, they are absolutely right.
Look at our defence spending, social security, welfare policy, deregulation of the markets, abortion or not, health care (private or socialized) all are failures in toto. Our education system is failing regardless of the amount of money spent, we did not know 9/11 was coming or that Iraq did not have weapons of any destruction. We did not see the dot com bubble and did not see the current crash coming, or that the housing was over priced.
Yet we keep listening to the same experts and keep reelecting the same morons to the congress and the senate, Democrat or Republican.

CHANGE WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN
Let us understand this first, the housing mess, the bad assets, whatever you call it, these houses were build with money that never existed, loaned to people who could not pay it back , by the people (banks, financial institutions, hedge funds, insurance companies) who did not have it in the first place!
So what is our government up to now? We know that the crisis in the economy today was brought on by the bankers. Millions today are homeless, jobless, broke, in part due to their own stupidity and greed, and in part due to the greed and the scams of the bankers.
But as millions lose their homes and their futures the government is bent on giving money and guarantees to the bankers who brought us here.
It is Wall street stealing money form people all over again, what has changed here from the government changing hands from the Republicans to the Democrat majorities in both house and the Senate and a Democrat in the White house. We are still handing over the keys to the kingdom to the same batch of thieves.
I have explained elsewhere that when the government spends borrowed money, the money ultimately ends up with the richest, ( who again with lower taxes get to keep the most of it )now the government is willing to borrow the money and hand it over directly to the rich without any benefit to the working and the working poor.
Another fact is that the when government borrows money, it is paying more in interest than the FED charges its "member banks", thus the bank can make money it does not have just on the spread,
That is the banking, housing, rescue plan of Obama and Geithenr and Bernanke and company now, to write IOUs on behalf of the American public, and hand over the cash to the bankers directly to buy the so called "bad assets".

A RESET TO DEFAULT

A RESET TO DEFAULT
Recently I had an opportunity to sit in on a meeting of an imam, a rabbi and a preacher of the gospel of Christ trying to bring the "communities of faith" to get along and act together for the common good of the community and the humanity. It was and uncommon pleasure indeed to see that at least some people of God were willing to let the God do His own thing in His own time, and just to get along here on earth in peace. May be IF there were to be a "GOD", HE might like it.
It is not to say that I Believe! My observations of the people of God and their follies is no secret. I actually love to expose the inherent hypocrisies of the religious. Mostly two faced, holier than thou good for nothings who look down upon seculars as know nothings. (click on the title of this article to read more)
How often in the history of God man has gone astray and then only reverted back to basics when **it has finally hit the fan.
I do not believe in a deity per se, but if it works for you then it is ok with me, I do however believe that the ancients were on to something when they wrote books and set the boundaries of human and community behavior, some today called that a religion, I call it common sense.
Man kind can not exist without boundaries of character. One of these being "Thou shalt not covet".
If you were to open your eyes , look around and see, you will see that the economic mess that we are in is in the whole based on unbridled coveting, we as a nation and the world fell into the coveting trap.
While I sat through the meetings, last two Tuesdays, and enjoyed the message that some in different beliefs are still willing to put their personal beliefs aside and work for the common good of humanity, my mind was still occupied with the thoughts of those who are so damn willing to go to heaven that they are willing to do everything that is barred by the commandments of their own "GODS".

DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS, OR WHATEVER!
Oh my, white powder! or a green economy, only if I had not been sober since the late seventies, the treasury has a plan, and the markets are up, Dow is up over three hundred, the recession must be over, the Armageddon is stared down at the free markets door step.
And I don't have any white powder or any green leafy substance, or the good pills that Alice took.
As the rabbit spoke, Alice could "see" his words, taking the shape of a tail, she was lost in her own thoughts, and could see the story words forming in the shape of a tail, a twisted and a tortured tail. The tail was scary, ( read below), and it pronounced a death.
We are a good people, compassionate, and caring and utterly immature, perpetually immature.
Where is this money coming form, and how will it be paid back? What IS Obama's plan?
We spent eight years listening to Mr. Bush about how the wealth was being created, and I was warning about us being the brokest country on the plane. He told us to go out and spend money, and we did, and he spent the country in to bankruptcy, while we borrowed more of the money being created out of thin air.
Now Obama is going to fix all the problems of this country, with the money he does not have, and all will be well, in the land of OZ, formerly known as the US of A.
We can not solve all the problems with money, NO SIR! No more than we can fix all ailments with snake oil. Our problems are structural and very much human. I have argued for years that we waste money in education when the kids are not willing to learn, where the parents don't give a damn and where the kids are more interested in screwing, and foot ball and beauty pageants.
We can not solve the crime problems where the kids are had just for having kids, and then thrown out to raise themselves while the "parents" are trying to get their own lives together.
Similarly we can not fix the jobs problems when we say we are committed to a global economy, we can not increase wages and reduce poverty when someone overseas can do the job cheaply, and we can provide health benefits when we want everyone to live for ever, even the brain dead ones.
So here is the only question I want to ask Obama, Geithner , Bernanke and Bush, tell me the truth please, will things will EVER be as good as we had, or are we in for a long long period of depressed economy, higher joblessness, more poverty, more crime, fewer people with health benefits, no retirement. Are we not just another third world country?

Bernanke defends big bank bailouts
""NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke responded to ongoing criticism of the government's efforts to keep alive institutions it has deemed "too big to fail," saying that this is an "enormous problem" that needs to be addressed.
Speaking before a group of community bankers in Phoenix, the central bank chief argued that actions taken thus far to prop up the nation's largest banks have been extremely unpleasant, but necessary to preventing further harm across financial markets and the broader economy.
"I do not think we have had a realistic alternative to preventing such failures," he said."
" Many smaller community banks avoided making too many subprime mortgages and also did not own the types of toxic securities backed by these loans that have plagued big banks. """
I believe it is high time, as I have previously suggested, that Bernanke, Paulson and Geithner, Greenspan etal, not just be put on stand, or in congressional hearing, we need to give these "experts" lie detector tests, the FBI needs to be looking in to this mess that we are in, and find out who knew what and when and how this racket was continued. It is hard to believe that myself with no more than two quarters of economice saw this coming many years ago, while these giants of ecoonomics never saw it coming.
Once again, I am not worried about the hundred forty/ sixty million in bonuses, what I do want to know where the one hundred seventy BILLION to the AIG went to, how many individual millionaires and billionaires benefited from this bail out ( got the government, tax payer money) and that is the real story.

You know, you should know I have problems with religions, I have bigger problems with the religious of every stripe, I am not impressed by what you believe in, I am impressed only by what you ARE!

LIES THAT WE ARE TOLD
So we hear all the noise about how this that and the other politician is helping fix the economy, so are they?
The biggest lie being told , right now, is the bank bail out. Who is actually being bailed out? And how does it help you get a job is a mystery, but we are being led to believe that it is working, that it will work.
If I am to believe that in a down economy, with consumption going down, and people not having any money, if only we could give money to the banks to make loans, they will, and everyone will get a job, and I do believe them then you don't need to read what I write. What will you think if i told you that I am going to open a bar, a restaurant, or start a trucking company, build a new mall, will you loan me any money? no , neither will the bank. Banks may have money to loan, but no sane person will go and borrow it, if they know they will have to pay it back. That is why the government is ready to guarantee just about any loan, business or personal. And this will put us back in the same hole we are trying to get out of.
The politicians are all over the place grand standing, they are so angry that the AIG execs are getting big bonuses, and you are impressed, dutifully impressed, right? And they are haggling over a hundred sixty million dollars of YOUR money. Right.
Can any one please tell me where these people were when the US government took on ten plus TRILLION dollars in debt, without a discussion in the congress, or without an authorization to raise the national debt limit.
They are all talking about the recovery, of jobs being created, has anyone been talking about the increasing homelessness and what we are to do about it? The increase in crime, petty or otherwise, where we will place these new millions of "criminals"? What police force will be available? Or even how we propose to feed the the new millions of the poor and hungry? The current welfare systems are being stretched already.,

Is there any doubt that living out the "Alice in Wonderland", I showed you previously how our education system is wholly based on the Alice in wonderland "caucus race", (SO, WHY ASK ALICE). If you listen closely this is also the Bernenke plan for recovery. The mouse proposes a plan to dry out Alice and others who are wet from the "Pool of Tears" by speaking on a dry subject, recovery in this case is the elusive "IT".
At last the Mouse, who seemed to be a person of authority among them,called out, 'Sit down, all of you, and listen to me! I'LL soon make you dry enough!' They all sat down at once, in a large ring, with the Mouse in the middle. Alice kept her eyes anxiously fixed on it, for she felt sure she would catch a bad cold if she did not get dry very soon.'Ahem!' said the Mouse with an important air, 'are you all ready? This is the driest thing I know. Silence all round, if you please! "William the Conqueror, whose cause was favoured by the pope, was soon submitted to by the English, who wanted leaders, and had been of late much accustomed to usurpation and conquest. AN ISSUE OF FAIRNESS
As the joblessness increases so does the poverty and the homelessness. We are a nation of compassionate people and want to help the poor, so I am right so far, right?
Here are two problems, we are a broke nation borrowing money , even from other countries to keep going, "temporarily" even though this temporary situation has lasted over a generation while the fix is just over the horizon. Are you with me so far?
We are borrowing money from the people, who have no money to give, their own people have no health care or welfare system like ours, where the poor can live in comfortable homes and have air conditioning and color TVs, large screen minds you. Why their poor should be obligated to support our poor.
Two and this is the worst, the new homeless, living in shelters and tent cities and parking lots are the ones who up until recently had worked, had jobs and even homes. While they are forced to live in these conditions people who have never worked or did not make an effort to improve themselves and have been on the dole for long periods get to stay in comfort.
It is time, while we are solving other problems, welfare system needs and immediate looking into, we need to provide equal measures of comfort and support to all, if we must, and unfair and unequal welfare program will cause us problems soon if not corrected.

For sixty years Pakistan has been ruled by thugs and thieves, that's why I had wrriten to President Bush to stop lying that he wants democracy in that country, and supporting Benazir. In the end Benazir did go to Pakistan and was killed.
Zardari , a crook that he has been all his life, was elected by the illiterate masses in sympathy and now he is showing himself out to be what he always has been. a thug and a thief.
It has been the policy of the West to support any one corrupt or corruptible, for the leadership in the Middle East, and elsewhere as long as they agreed to kow tow to the West and sell out their own populace.
In Pakistan US may have chewed up that they are able to swallow, one, Pakistan is a nuclear armed country, two they have an Islamic insurgency that is proving to be more capable than Pakistan forces can handle, three, Zardari is after all a Sindhi, with very little support from the majority especially now that he has usurped the power of Nawaz Sharif. Unless the military once again steps in Pakistan will break out in to chaos, in a very short order.
A civil war, a clear possibility, or the break up of the country in to will have severe consequences far beyond its borders, and India may try to step in to the breech.
I had written Bush, that he was lying about Benazir, Us will suffer the consequence of baring a false witness.

So you say how is sex related to foreclosures? Let me explain, in today's society it is not uncommon for a woman to have a child or two from a previous relationship when she gets in a new relationship ( it could also be a man). Let's say they are from middle class or better and buy a home depending partly on the child support income from the previous partner to pay expenses, even some of the mortgage payment. Now in these tough economic times if that previous partner losses their job and the child support stops, you know what will happen next.
Also as the job loses increase, we have laws on the books to jail "dead beat" parents, all these people who now can not afford to make child support payments also actually face being jailed and also have child support payments acculmulate to the point that getting a job would be meaning less if all you can do is to forward your pay check to the courts to pay off the cost of your old relations.

In the example shown below from the "Alice in Wonderland" did you catch it? It shows the American Education System, still clueless?
Here is the Americna Education system in a nutshell

THE FUTURE IS HERE
NPR had a disscussion of the new economy and the future, on their program, "ON POINT" with Tom Ashbrook, (onpointradio.org) it is linked to the title here and you can hear the discussion yourself and read the comments.
I have discussed these same problems in my article, "A new world order, 2003", posted below. The idea of ever expanding economy, consumerism, commercialism is all counter to the future of the humanity, the world. A profit based economy looking for more consumers, and more profits is counter intutive. We are running out of land, out of water and even out of fish in the ocean.
Population control, lower standard of living for all but a few, enforced shorter life spans, euthenasia, selective breedings, are all in the near future and need to be discussed and faced, we can go in to the future blind and we will still get there, lets get to the point.
