SO YOU THINK ME CRAZY
LIFE IS A GAME OF CONNECT THE DOTS, IF YOU DON'T CONNECT ALL THE DOTS OR DON'T CONNECT THEM IN THE RIGHT ORDER YOU NEVER GET THE PICTURE
IT IS NOT HOW I SAY YOU SHOULD LIVE, IT IS NOT HOW I WANT YOU TO LIVE, BUT THIS THE WAY YOU WILL LIVE
Calvin: Hobbes, what do you think happens to us when we die?
Hobbes: I think we play saxophone for an all-girl cabaret in New Orleans.
Calvin: So you believe in heaven?
Hobbes: Call it what you like.
"" "48.16": Say to those of the dwellers of the desert who were left behind: You shall soon be invited (to fight) against a people possessing mighty prowess; you will fight against them until they submit; then if you obey, Allah will grant you a good reward; and if you turn back as you turned back before, He will punish you with a painful punishment.
"48.19": And many acquisitions which they will take; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.
"48.20": Allah promised you many acquisitions which you will take, then He hastened on this one for you and held back the hands of men from you, and that it may be a sign for the believers and that He may guide you on a right path." ""
Call me what you will, I have a hard time believing that God wants animal or human sacrifices to be made in His name and the blood sprinkled at the alter and around the temple, that killed his "OWN" son, and that God wants you to rob others who are non believers. That is just my God.
This is not to say that I don't find some of these scriptures alluring and beautiful and wise in their understanding of the human situation and psychology, I have oft quoted from scriptures to validate my points about the need for morality, a "MORAL MAN" if you will.
1And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.
3If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD." Does this not sound like a sacrifice made by some idol worshiping cult?
or this one, "
1And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.
2And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
3And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
4And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away." which has much in common with Wicca rituals. or just read, "Numbers 5".
Is there a "GOD", most likely there is one, but we can not deny that with the passage of time, and increase in human knowledge, the monotheistic religions have evolved also and became more detailed.
Many among the Muslims believe that they have to kill the non-believers, but here is a quote from the Koran, "

Calling for the reformation of the United Nations “and likewise of economic institutions and international finance” in the wake of the global financial crisis, Pope Benedict XVI, in his third encyclical, wrote that there is an “urgent need of a true world political authority.”
In his encyclical—the second-highest level of papal teaching in the Catholic Church—the pontiff added, “Furthermore, such an authority would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights.”
“The document ‘Charity in Truth,’ was in the works for two years, and its publication was repeatedly delayed to incorporate the fallout from the crisis. It was released a day before leaders of the Group of Eight industrialized nations meet to coordinate efforts to deal with the global meltdown, signaling a clear Vatican bid to prod leaders for a financially responsible future and what it considers a more socially just society” (Associated Press).
Since becoming pope in April 2005, Benedict XVI has written only two other encyclicals—“God is Love” in 2006 and “Saved by Hope” in 2007.
Now no one will accuse the pope of being a communist, but is he not asking for a one world government? Is that not socialism? Is he advocating for an anti Christ? Could and anti Christ be a muti-headed cabal? But we are not discussing religion here and I am a non-believer in any traditional sense.
Actually no one with any common sense and knowledge really can have faith in the traditional sense, not the pope or the highest Rabi or the King of Saudi Arabia, even if they pretend to do so to keep the unsophisticated in line and under their control.
Look at the countries like Bangladesh, Egypt, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Panama, Haiti, China, India, where population is growing faster than any plan to improve the quality of life can bear. Right here in the United States as the fake economy is coming to a screeching halt, jobs are disappearing and numbers of job seekers are growing so fast that even the best hopes of a recovery promise to be jobless. The only conclusion that can be drawn form this is that either we let the poverty and misery to grow or to provide incentives for people to stem the growth in numbers.
California can be a case study in the things to come, (some one NPR, I am a member, made a comment that the poor will leave California,). I think they should have said the working poor, and that will only compound the problems there, by increasing the number of people on welfare who can not move and the numbers of illegals who depend on the state to provide services. Once again, I tell you that we will soon ask the poor people not to have babies,or that we will not pay for them whether THEY like it or not, but then again have I not been predicting this?
07/14/2009 A CASE FOR POPULATION CONTROL, VI An economic down turn combined with the technology that is replacing humans in jobs, an increase in "productivity" and an end to consumerism that is needed to save the planet how do we justify an increasing population? From the fifties on thru the start of the eighties, (remember Ronald Reagan, NAFTA, and THE GATT), Technology was serving the humanity, the air travel had made the world smaller, trade was increasing. Up until that time, the United States was the leader in manufacturing and technology. We were producing things that other people wanted to buy and pay premium prices for it. We made things and brought in money from overseas, we were rich. Then we started buying stuff from overseas and sent our manufacturing jobs to people who lived on a bowl of rice a day, heck even India and China and the lowly Pakistan are importing goods made cheaply in other countries. As I have stated in my previous writings, the new American economy was a farce. As Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton and Bush 43 led our country and the world in to the "La La Land" of ever increasing prosperity based on an ever increasing money supply and the "riches beyond belief" of the borrowed money. If no one saw it coming, then in 2003, I had warned of the upcoming catastrophe, it was in my new year's eve letter to the Money magazine and the Dothan Eagle, we have been duped for so long. Today, regardless of their promises and pleadings to the contrary, there will be no recovery for the majority of the people of this country or the world. Here is something you should also take note of though. In the upcoming battle about the immigration in the United States congress, you will see the arguments being made that we don't have jobs for the people who are already here, that was my argument against amnesty back in 2006. If it is true, and it is, that the United States herself cannot afford to have any more people that it already has, then how can a third world country support a larger and ever growing population. The "economic boom" of the United States had many beneficiaries, in faraway places, now the economic misery is also spreading around the world, for every job lost in the United States there are six or seven jobs being lost somewhere else around the globe. If the misery of the poor was increasing during the good times, (A War on Poverty), then what do we have to look forward to as the poverty and unemployment are headed for increases in the foreseeable future. If the drug wars, child prostitution, slavery, sexual slavery, bondage, higher rates of illnesses and other miseries are the future of humanity, then it is better to stop producing babies now. So far, no government and no industry and no liberal or conservative think tank , no religion, no NGO and no religious organization is willing to face up to the reality of this future. Even the China plan of one baby per family is drastically short of what is needed. |
We are forever talking about helping the poor, for many years the IMF has had a program to increase the income of many populations to the level of "a dollar a day" but as we all know that his program has not succeeded, not only that it failed, the numbers of people living on less than a dollar day keeps increasing as well as the value of dollar is sinking the it is lie. Talking about lying, when you watch the chairman of the FED, or watch Timothy Giethner, the two are always talking without saying anything meaningful, of course there is one difference, Geithner can lie without his voice cracking, Bernanke cannot. Then there are two ancient philosophical constructs, God's will, and the so called Free will, the God's will says that everything happens according to the will of God, the construct of Free will assumes that everyone is free to choose what they want, in reality the two are not mutually exclusive, and often are in conflict. There are also two new constructs, the money and the technology (let us say knowledge that includes technology for keeping it simple). Money and Knowledge can often over- ride both the ancient constructs. I have given many examples of this previously but here is a couple more. Let us say you are born in a small African country, poverty is rampant and so is disease, we could say it is God's will that you get sick and die, but then your family happens to have money, (stolen from the foreign aid or black marketing in donated goods) you can thus make your free will over ride God's will and buy a villa in the French Rivera, or a chalet in the Swiss Alps and screw God, or maybe you are smart and go to college in your home country and they give you a scholarship so you can come to the states and study, then return home and help out your country men, you get here and get good grades and the university offers you a professorship and you tell your country to go suck lemons. Here the money over rides both the God's will and your own free will. Or say you are the supreme leader (or even a two bit whore of a king) of your third world fiefdom. You are paid a grand salary equal to twenty thousand dollars, and then you realize that even the street walkers in America make more money than that. Hell they pay more to the White House gardeners than your pay as the King of Costa Luna, or the president of Philippines you have to steal from your people fuck a God's will, and you cannot stop stealing from your own people to keep up with the joneses, and thomases and williamses. |
racial issue is about economic disparity..the gap between the have and the have not is too wide. There has to be a concrete evidence that efforts are being made to address that disparity to ease the racial tension.Racial harmony demands a lot of compromises from all concerned.
