A CONVERSATION

A CONVERSATION

You talk too much, in riddles,
for what and for who
you know it makes me no difference,
for you is me or me is you

say what does it matter,
when a life is so cheap
say why should I care,
and say for what do I still weep

morality is relative,
and the virtue doesn't matter
modesty has failed us,
and we couldn't do any better

who's to care what we do,
and how we do behave
t's the ultimate freedom,
when you choose to be a slave

a model in confirmity,
and no nail is in your nose
no strings attached,
and the surrender you pose

the pain is at your pleasure,
indignities remain
torture's to stay alive,
loose it all for what you gain

life of loss, and lonely,
no part of any crowd
afraid to face reality,
take a stand that you're proud

forget the decorum,
leave that conscience asleep
let's stay with superficial,
or stop, when i get too deep

self worth and self respect,
you've learned to talk the talk
it's a dog eating dog world,
you've learned to walk the walk

Value yourself,
or all this talk is just so cheap
you true worth is only,
what you save,and you keep
